Picture Restoration - Operation on a picture with a digital computer to make it more closely resemble the original object.

Picture Colorization - A computer assisted process by which color is imparted to black-and-white images.

Picture Enhancement - Any process intended to improve the visual appearance of an image from its original state.

Picture Digitalization - The process of transforming hardcopy images into electronic data that we can save and organize.

1. Here's a great example, notice on the left the creases through the man's face and shirt. Restoration allows us to take out the creases and clean the appearance of the photo which is demonstrated on the right.

2. Here's another photo that's torn, creased, and the color has been faded. The photo on the right has taken out the imperfections and the color has been restored to new again.

3. The last example here demonstrates the same characteristics as the second example. Notice the creases and altered coloring. The photo on the right has restored it to its natural beauty.

1. Colorization is an interesting process, the image on the left is a plain black and white photo. The photo on the right had color added to it to give it a unique look, while the background is still in its original form..

2. In this example, its common for the customer to only want a certain thing or object colorized as demonstrated on the picture to the right.

3. This is another example of colorization. The little kid in the picture is holding an apple. The customer wanted to give it a special look and added color only to the apples.

1. Enhancing an image is very common. In this picture on the left you see a few unwanted objects that need to be removed, such as the light poll, the snow, and the car. The image on the right takes out those unwanted objects, decolorized the sky and put a black and white border around the picture to complete the finished look.

2. In many cases old images over time tend to lose and fade there original color. Enhancing the image can restore faded and altered colors to your original image.

3. Notice the image on the left where the boy has acne. We can enhance the photo, remove the acne and clean up the face. A great way to the remove those embarrassing blemishes.

Digitizing your pictures is a great way to preserve and enhance your photo's. We take the standard 4x6's and scan them at three optional dpi's (300, 600, & 1200) . The higher the dpi the better the scan quality and picture. Backup your entire collection of hardcopy photo's on to one CD or DVD. You also have the option to make a DVD slide show.
